Procurement Officer

There is a position available for a Procurement Officer in the Sandton area.

Candidates require: Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations. Familiarity with procurement software and tools. Certification in procurement or supply chain management. Experience with international procurement and global supply chains. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the logistics industry.

Candidate will be responsible for: Vendor Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Inventory Management, Cost Control, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Collaboration and Risk Management.

Basic salary starting at R 30 000.00 to R 40 000.00 negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
